Privacy policy
What we collect
Your name, email, and payment info (handled by Stripe — we never see your card). The brief you submit and any documents you attach. Chat logs between you and your writer. That is it.
What we do NOT collect
Your school name, your professor's name, your real address (we use city only for tax purposes), tracking data outside our own site, social-media profiles, browsing habits.
What we share
Your assigned writer sees: the brief, your first name only, your chat messages. They never see your real name, email, payment details, school, or order history.
Third parties: Stripe (payment), Google Cloud (hosting), Postmark (transactional email), our originality-checking partners. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data, period.
How long we keep your data
Order data: 7 years (required for tax & dispute resolution). Chat logs: 2 years. Drafts and final papers: deleted 90 days after order completion unless you opt into long-term storage.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to request: copy of your data, deletion, correction, export. We process within 30 days.

Disclaimer & academic responsibility
What this service is
EssayScribez sells custom-written reference papers. These are model documents, written to your specifications, intended as study aids, research starting points, or learning resources.
What this service is NOT
A diploma mill. A guarantee of academic success. A way around your school's honor code if your school prohibits this type of help.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for understanding your school's policies on outside writing assistance. You are responsible for how you use the paper. You are responsible for the work you submit.
Our position
We believe in transparency. We do not pretend to be tutors when we are ghostwriters. We do not hide the legal name of our service. We let you decide if this fits your needs.

Social responsibility
Where we stand on AI
We do not use AI to write papers. We use it internally for proofreading, grammar checks, and plagiarism detection. Writers who use AI to draft are removed from the platform.
How we treat writers
68% take-home rate (industry average is ~40%). No unilateral rate cuts. Health stipend for full-time writers. Direct deposit, no payout-delay nonsense.
Carbon
Our hosting (Google Cloud) is 100% renewable-energy matched. We offset our office energy use. Yes, we know it is not much. Doing it anyway.
Where money goes
Annually we publish how much went to writers, infrastructure, taxes, and staff. Latest: 68% writers, 14% hosting & ops, 11% staff, 7% taxes.
